NEWSFLASH! Brigitte Nielson is 54 and pregnant!

The middle-aged actress/model recently shared the news that she will become a mother for the fifth time, stating in an Instagram caption, ‘Family getting larger.’

Best known for her statuesque physique, Nielsen is the mother of four adult sons (including one with ex-fianc?, former NFL player Mark Gastineau).

The actress rose to fame starring alongside Sylvester Stallone (her 2nd husband) in “Rocky IV” and “Cobra.”

Stallone & Nielson were married from 85 to 87. The actress was also married to Kasper Winding from 1983 to 1984, Sebastian Copeland from 1990 to 1992 and Raoul Meyer from 1993 to 2005.

In 2005, Nielson found love with rapper Flavor Flav after they appeared on a VH1 reality series called “The Surreal Life.” The couple’s relationship was so intriguing that they landed their own show called, “Strange Love” but sadly the union was short lived.

[Fun Fact: The demise of the strange pairing launched a wave of relationship based reality shows for VH1, including ‘Flavor of Love’ and ‘I Love NY’… but I digress.]

The Danish actress is now married to Mattia Dessi, 39.? The couple tied the knot back in 2006 and Nielson revealed back in 2008 that she would love to have more children.

“The children have kept me going.

After I do Playboy, we want to try IVF. It’s asking a lot, but if it’s possible, it would make our package complete.”

Neilson now joins the growing list of celebrity women who have chosen to bear children later in life, i.e. Janet Jackson (who gave birth to her first child, son Eissa, at the age of 50), Halle Berry (who had her first child at 41 and 2nd at 47), Mariah Carey (who gave birth to twins at 43), Kenya Moore (who is reportedly pregnant with her first child at 47) and more.
