A Delta Air Lines flight from Atlanta to Allentown, PA was disrupted last week by unruly passenger who shouted pro-Donald Trump and anti-Hillary Clinton remarks towards fellow passengers.

The video quickly went viral online and many noted that airline staff chose not to eject the Trump supporter (who just so happened to by White) while there have been various instances where passengers of other races and ethnicities have been subjected to extra scrutiny or outright removal by various airlines?for smaller offenses or even basic activities.

Well, after about a week of criticism and protests over the incident, Delta Airlines has finally issued a statement and it seems the airline is going above and beyond to ensure customers?that this unruly Trump supporter?did not receive special treatment by BANNING him from flying Delta for life.

Edward H. Bastian, the airline?s chief executive, released a memo published on Delta?s website addressing the incident, stating:

?This individual displayed behavior that was loud, rude and disrespectful to his fellow customers,? Mr. Bastian said in the statement.

Delta is also issuing a full refund to passengers on the Nov. 22nd flight who were forced to witness the unruly passenger.

?We must require civility on our planes and in our facilities.”

The decision by Delta comes days after the airline received staunch criticism on social media for its initial response to the incident, which a passenger named Emma Baum videotaped and released online and to news organizations.

Delta Air Lines also admits that they handled the situation wring stating:

?We have followed up with the teams involved and all agree that this customer should not have been allowed to continue on the flight.?

The statement continues…

?After questioning the customer, our team members made the best decision they could given the information they had and allowed him to remain on the flight.?

Delta also states that the passenger involved will not be allowed to fly Delta ever again.

?If our colleagues had witnessed firsthand what was shown in the video, there is no question they would have removed him from the aircraft. He will never again be allowed on a Delta plane.?
