In this episode, Greg finally figures out who the mole is… and it’s NOT Angela!
The Feds find the dead body of Ruiz and Greg arrives just in time to secure the unauthorized wire that he forced Ruiz to wear.
Greg then meets up with his mentor to review the audio Ruiz recorded, which just so happens to have the proof he needs that Tommy and Ghost killed Lobos, however his mentor reminds him that the audio will never stand in court.
What he does suggest to Greg is to go after the person who has the most to lose… GHOST!
Jamie, parked not too far from the scene, calls Angela to see if she knows anything. Angela is clueless about the situation. (Her peers thinks she’s the mole, so of course they’re keeping her out of the loop!).
Jamie breaks into Greg?s apartment to see what evidence Greg could have against him. While searching the apartment, Jamie finds Angela?s undergarments on the bed. She also arrives with her key looking for Greg, which totally throws Jamie off.
As Jamie leaves the apartment in a rush, he gets distracted as he goes out the window and leaves behind a bit of evidence.
Greg pulls over Jamie and attempts to get him to roll over on Angela, who he’s convinced is the mole but Jamie refuses. Now, Greg has everything and nothing at the same dayum time!
He then calls Mike to tell him all of the evidence that he has on Angela and how he’s convinced that she was a part of the Lobos murder scheme.
Mike meets Greg at his apartment and Greg reveals that he’s confident that Angela is the leak… that is… until he gets a phone call from the Mexican Federal authorities.
As Greg takes the call in private, he suddenly realizes his mistake. Angela is NOT the leak… it’s Mike! (Duh!)
Mike feels he’s been busted so he comes clean and tries to persuade Greg to frame Angela. Greg declines and Mike kills him and plants his trap phone in Greg?s apartment.
Ghost’s son Tariq has been hanging out with his dad’s arch nemisis, Kanan, and he don’t eeeven know it!
Kanan aka ‘Slim’ has been teaching Tariq how to be a ‘G’ so he gives his young mentor a package to deliver.
Tariq delievers the package, a bag of guns, and is soon detained by an undercover cop. Coincidentally, the officer is in cahoots with corrupt officer Jukebox, who is waiting in her police car.
The two officers attempt to get Tariq to snitch on who gave him the package, but he stays tight lipped. A few moments later ‘Slim’ hops in the squad car and reveals it was all a test to see if Tariq was a ?G.?
While Kanan Slim seems to have a soft spot for the kid, Jukebox reminds him that Tariq is merely a means to an end, and should be thought of as such.
Tariq is merely Kanan’s key to getting revenge on ghost, so they decide to hold him for ransom to ensure a quick payday, but kill him anyway… to ensure he kills ghost’s ‘heart’.
Dayum! That’s ruthless!
Angela: When a Woman’s fed up…
Internal Affairs meets with the Feds and names Greg Knox as ‘the mole’. The IA also mentions that there was ?no signs of forced entry, unless he left the window open? which triggers the investigative eye in Angela, who mentions that Greg never left his windows open.
Angela meets with Jamie to question him about his whereabouts when Greg was killed (but she doesn?t say Greg was killed and he doesn’t know Greg was killed at this point).
Jamie tells Angela that Greg pulled him over and that he would do ?anything? to protect her. Red Flag! As he grabs her hand, Angela suddenly realizes that the man she loves could be the one who’s been killing all of these people!
Angela tells Jamie now that the Lobos case is closed and she no longer wants anything to do with him.
Later, Angela confirms her suspicions by returning to Greg’s apartment and obtaining fingerprints from the window.
[Sidebar: Looks like Ghost is about to be up sh*t creek!]
Ding, Dong… the witch Milan is dead!
Milan decides that the time is finally right to get rid of Jamie.
While meeting with Tommy, Milan explains that Jamie will be killed after he signs the paperwork with The Bassetts and Tommy is expected to deliver the final shot to Jamie.
Later, Jamie throws a party at Truth to impress The Bassettes and finally earns their business.
Dre sneaks his boys into the club and warns them not to deviate from ‘the plan’. All of his thug-life friends are dressed to the nines and apparently they’re there for something… we just don’t know what yet.
When Milan sees Jamie sign the contract with The Bassettes, it?s time to for the kill but Jamie has a surprise.
Jamie puts a gun to Milan?s side and instructs him to look around the club. Each one of his men has already been taken down by Dre?s boys. It’s a wrap!
Milan motions to Tatiana to help him, but Tasha has that covered and puts a gun to her side as well. The plan is finally coming together! Milan is led downstairs and met by Tommy where he is driven to his warehouse. Tommy and Ghost then take on the task of killing him… together, as a team!
Now that Milan has been taken out the game, Jamie is finally free.. or is he?
He returns to the Truth party, which is going great, but then gets a surprise visit from Angela.
Jamie is arrested in the middle of the club for the murder of Special Agent Gregory Knox.
While WE know he didn’t do it, Angela is convinced that he did and now she’s taking down the man she once loved.
Ghost/Jamie sits stunned in the back of the police car. He was so close to freedom and now it seems it’s all fallen apart!
