Comedian Katt Williams was arrested (AGAIN) this past weekend and while a mugshot has yet to be released, we certainly aren’t at a loss finding one to choose from.
Williams was arrested Sunday morning in a Los Angeles hotel on a single battery charge for allegedly assaulting a woman in a restaurant.
When authorities arrived, Williams, 44, had already ‘assumed the position’ by laying face first on the ground with his hands behind his back, in preparation for the arrest.
Details below…
The woman reportedly assaulted has been identified as an ’employee’ of Williams, but there has been no word on her job title.
According to PEOPLE, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman confirmed that Katt Williams was detained just before 11 a.m. on Sunday at the Sportsman’s Lodge in Sherman Oaks.
“Officers arrived and met with the female victim, who told them she’d been assaulted by her employer, Mr. Williams,” the police spokesman says.
Police would not discuss the victim’s job title.
The victim reported to authorities that Williams had punched her and police report that there were visible injuries.
Court records show that the comedian is currently being held on $20,000 bail following Sunday’s arrest.
