Singer Kelly Rowland payed a special visit to her hometown of Atlanta yesterday (April 26, 2016).
The Grammy Award winning superstar is a National Ambassador for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA), and she’s partnered with Claritin to make over several outdoor spaces at Clubs in three communities in need.
Rowland’s first stop was Atlanta to announce plans to revitalize the park at the Salvation Army BGCA Bellwood Club location ?on Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy (Bankhead) in northwest Atlanta.

During?the event, Kelly was greeted by several excited kids who were eager to meet the for Destiny’s Child.
Rowland graciously greeted her young fans one on one before she discussed her important partnership with Claritin and the BGCA.?
Rowland talks to BGCA kids and stresses the importance of physical fitness and outdoor activity.
Afterwards, Kelly made time to speak with several young ladies individually and even shared with them a few of stretching techniques.
Also in attendance was Jonathan Field, M.D., a clinical allergist and member of the Claritin C.L.E.A.R. Council, who is also?born and raised in Atlanta.
Dr. Field was on hand to discuss how allergies can?impact people?s ability to enjoy time outdoors?and seasonal allergy symptom management with Claritin.?
