Kim Fields of The Real Housewives of Atlanta revealed to The Ricky Smiley Morning Show last month that she would NOT be returning for another season of the popular reality show.

While many assumed it was BRAVO who pulled the plug, Andy Cohen revealed via twitter that Kim was free to return if she wished.

Now, it’s also been revealed that Kim actually quit the show because of Kenya Moore and the foul rumors she was spreading about Fields’ husband, Christoper Morgan.

According to OK Magazine, a source revealed that gay rumors that were shared about her husband, Christopher Morgan, were one of Fields? biggest points of frustration on RHOA.

?The rumors spread on the show, that Christopher is gay, were absolutely unacceptable,? the source said.

?Her kids will have to deal with the fallout for year to come.?

The source added that Fields asked that the footage be edited out of the show, but her request was completely denied.

When they refused, Fields decided she would not be returning for more abuse and she bounced.

The source added that Kenya Moore’s attempts to push the rumors and tarnish her husband’s reputation was another factor in Fields’ decision to quit, adding that Kim had major issues with the cast?s attitudes and professionalism as well.

Kenya Moore just kept coming after her… Kim felt the network did nothing!

Fields attempted to address her issues with her RHOA castmates during the Season 8 reunion show, but all were in agreement that she wasn’t a great fit for the show anyway.

Personally, I liked Kim on the show. Her ‘grown woman’ attitude was a refreshing alternative to all of the pettiness. But I can totally understand her decision to forgo the drama for the sake of her household.
