Nene Leakes seemed to be the missing link on The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s 8th season and reports have been running rampant that Bravo desperately wants her back onboard… full time!

According to RadarOnline, Bravo execs want to ensure that Leakes continues to be a part of the show, because their new casting didn?t pan out this season, so they’re reportedly offering her more dough to return.

As you know, Kim Fields was the newest housewife and she’s already quit after her first season (click HERE if you missed that).

?Kim [Fields] was not good,? the insider insisted. ?The show needed NeNe to make her interesting, and they know that.?

Former ‘housewife’ Sheree Whitfield’s return as ‘friend of the show’ was also somewhat of a disappointment as?ratings still declined without Nene Leakes on board.

?NeNe is always a ratings plus for the show,? a insider explained.

?And the producers want to make sure the show stays strong. The reason it stays strong is NeNe, so they?re throwing money at her.?

And by ‘throwing money’ they mean MILLIONS!

While Nene’s previous salary topped $2 million, Leakes has reportedly been offered a $2.5 MILLION dollar salary to return for season 9 of the popular reality show, but she’s yet to accept the offer.
