The Real Housewives of Atlanta aired the 7th episode of it’s tragically messy eighth season last night (December 20, 2015).
Last week, we were left with a cliffhanger which involved a physical altercation during the ladies’ Miami girl’s trip.

This week’s episode is titled, ‘Miami Spice’ as the drama continues with Kenya ‘Messy’ Moore leading the charge.
The ladies continue living La Vida Loca in Miami, but trouble arrives in paradise when a guest of the house takes the drama to new heights, causing tensions to rise. Porsha takes time away from the ladies for a steamy date with a hot new suitor.
After the dust settles, two of the women decide to trek back to Atlanta, leaving a small crew behind to enjoy the Florida sun. Kim’s apprehension about Kenya is pushed to the limits, forcing her to reconsider her decision about continuing this newfound friendship.

Atlanta-based rapper (and personal favorite of mine) Killer Mike, has surpisingly emerged as one of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders most outspoken supporters in the South.

The rapper spoke of his political awakening at a Sanders event last month and he also sat down with the Democratic candidate at the SWAG Shop in Atlanta for an hourlong interview, which was recently releasd.
Mike and Sanders chat about the meaning of democratic socialism, Sanders’ political strategy, gun control, and even address Donald Trump’s racism:
“I played Mexico City yesterday…and I yelled, ‘F*ck Trump!’ and basically 20,000 Mexican citizens repeated it,” Killer Mike told Sanders. “I feel like that in my heart. I’d even tell that to Jesus Christ.”
“How dangerous is it that a man just got beat up at his political rally?” he went on, referencing the Black Lives Matter activist who was beaten at a Trump event last month.

Monica Brown appeared on The Wendy Williams Show this morning to promote the release of her ‘Code Red’ album.

When asked about what to expect from the new release, Mo’ states:
I’m just fighting for the restoration of R&B. It’s not as respected and as loved as it used to be.
That’s why I call it ‘Code Red’… that’s why I dyed my hair red. I took the whole movement serious because this music really saved my life and I think it will for some other people. I think we need some balance.
Monica also referenced a few other talented singers who are also helping restore the genre like Fantasia and Jazmine Sullivan.
