Meet Tashuana Green.
Green, 36, posed for the glamorous mugshot above after being nabbed for shoplifting.
But wait…
While most ‘normal’ shoplifters get caught in the act or are spotted via surveillance cameras, Green’s arrest was sparked by her own social media stupidity?after she posted a photo wearing her brand new $9,400 shoplifted dress.

When store security noticed a rare $9,400 dress was missing from the Galleria’s Luis Vuitton in Houston,?they already suspected?who took it.
“Apparently she was known to the employees,” said a spokesperson for the Houston Police Department.
Neither Galleria security nor the mall’s Louis Vuitton would comment on Green’s reputation, or how staff thought to look her up but she apparently has a very lengthy criminal past. ?Green has accumulated over 15 mugshots over the past 10 years and is known as a ‘serial’ thief.
According to court documents, Green has long posed a threat to luxury brands at Houston’s upscale mall, and she’s faced repeated charges for high-dollar heists.
Investigators say Green once stole $2,000 worth of belts and purses from Ferragamo. Court documents show Green and some friends have hit up the Chanel store too, getting away with more than $8,000 in handbags.
Her latest high-dollar heist allegedly happened at Louis Vuitton. Police say Green stole a $9,400 dress. Only two of its kind were made in the U.S.
Workers in the LV store didn’t even know the dress was gone until weeks later during inventory. They rolled the cameras back and identified Green as the suspect. Employees looked up 36-year-old Tashuana Green’s Instagram page, and there was a photo of her wearing the missing green and white-striped luxury dress. Green was charged with theft on September 30, 2015 and has since been released on bond.
