R&B Diva’s Kelly Price has officially filed for divorce from her husband of 23 years, Jeffrey Rolle, Sr.

The 42-year-old songstress hinted at trouble in her marriage last July, when she announced she was divorcing Rolle.

Now Price has officially filed the papers to dissolve her marriage.

Kelly Price announced her decision to get a divorce last July with a prepared statement to AlwaysAList.com, stating:

After the untimely death of my sister last year, it weighed on me heavily that this was something we needed to do. I ultimately made the decision to live the best life I can.

I ended things because I didn?t want to compromise what true happiness was anymore. There are no hard feelings and I will love Jeff until the day I die!

The pair have business ties that needed to be handled before Price could get the Divorce ball rolling (Rolle is also Price’s manager) but now it seems they may have finally come to some sort of agreement, and she’s cutting all business ties with him too.

According to divorce documents, Price is requesting no spousal support for either side, and says there’s no commuity property to fight over. The couple has 2 adult children, so they have no custody issues to fight over.

Price has been nominated for seven Grammys in her career and has sung background on hits like Mariah Carey’s “Fantasy” and The Notorious B.I.G.’s “Mo Money Mo Problems.”
