Ross (39) and his bodyguard Nadrian James (42) reportedly got into an altercation with a groundskeeper on his property and allegedly pistol whipped him.
According to the arrest warrant, Ross was having work done on property and he and James allegedly got into a fight with one of the workers and pistol-whipped him.
The report says the men hit Jonathan Zamudio several times with a gun and chipped two of Zamudio’s teeth. Zamudio also suffered serious neck and jaw injuries, according to the warrant.
The warrant says the pair held Zamudio against his will at a guest house.
Both men are charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault and aggravated battery.
Ross went before a Magistrate Court judge a few hours ago?and the judge told him that he will have to remain behind bars until a bond hearing can be held in Superior Court.
Ross? attorney wouldn?t answer any questions about the charges,?except to say that there are two sides to a story and Ross is in good spirits and appreciates his fans? support.
Both Ross and James, 42, were arrested at the former’s Fayetteville, Ga., home without incident. According to a?press release?from the Fayette County Sheriff’s office, the matter is still under investigation and authorities are unable to comment further on it at this time.
TMZ released additional details about the incident stating that?Ross?took a Glock 9MM pistol and viciously pistol-whipped the worker so badly that he messed up his jaw and neck.
Ross got into an argument with his groundskeeper at the massive Georgia home he bought from?Evander Holyfield, this according to legal docs. According to law enforcement, Ross forced the groundskeeper into the guesthouse bedroom at gunpoint and starting grilling him.
Cops say when Ross didn’t get the answers he wanted, he pistol-whipped the guy twice, messing up his jaw and neck and chipping 2 teeth. The groundskeeper was hurt badly enough that he couldn’t use his jaw and is now on a liquid diet.
