[FLASHBACK: Mugshot Mania: Fulton County Inmates Need Love Too… ]
Cross posed for the mugshot above after he sent an accidental text. Yes… you read right. A text message can get you locked up, ESPECIALLY if you send it to the wrong person.
We’ve all done it, right?
In yet another story that involves a potent mixture of mobile technology and general stupidity, Georgia resident?Alvin Cross, Jr. texted the wrong person when he decided he wanted to get high.
Specifically, Cross sent a text message to his probation officer which read ?You have some weed??
For the record, Cross was already on probation after being sentenced to 15 years in prison for a 2006 armed robbery offense.
In response to the text, law enforcement officials raided Cross? residence, where they discovered a bag of cocaine.
Cross eventually pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine and was sentenced to one year in prison for possession of cocaine and sentenced to another year in prison for violating the terms of his parole (source).
And the morale of this story? Double check your text before pressing ‘send’…
