Keshia Knight-Pulliam was the first to go during this season’s ‘Celebrity Apprentice’, but she still managed to get quite a bit of press for her charitable cause.
Keshia was ‘fired’ by Donald Trump after her backstabbing teammate, Kenya Moore, blasted her for not reaching out to her famous television dad, Bill Cosby, for a donation.
Many feel that Knight-Pulliam was unjustly fired, being that she was the team leader and had even donated $25,000 of her own funds to the cause, but the former ‘Cosby Kid’ doesn’t regret her decision.
Keshia appeared on The Today Show earlier this week to discuss the decision that led to her termination, stating:
The reality was, I hadn’t spoken to Mr. Cosby and I felt it would be kind of tactless to contact him asking for money..
She was also asked about the recent controversy surrounding Cosby and the allegations of rape against her tv dad, and while she hasn’t spoken to Cosby in a while, she still speaks up for him and refers to him as a great man.

When asked about Cosby and the recent allegations of Rape against him, Keshia states:
What I can say is this: I wasn’t there. No one was there except for the two people who know exactly what happened. All I can speak to is the man that I know and I love.
Ultimately, they’re just that, allegations. You know, it’s very much been played out in the court of public opinion. But we’re still in America, where ultimately you’re innocent until proven guilty. I wasn’t there. That’s just not the man I know. So I can’t speak to it.
The fact that he’s been such an example, you can’t take away from the great that he has done. You know, the amount? the millions and millions of dollars that he has given back to colleges and education, and just what he did with ‘The Cosby Show’ and how groundbreaking that was.
