Cynthia Bailey of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and her hubby Peter Thomas shared a kiss as they enjoyed the food & watched the recent episode of RHOA at Thomas’ local Bar One restaurant last night (February 23, 2014).

As you know, Peter’s establishment was in the news recently after the owner of the building filed a $100,000 lawsuit against Thomas for unpaid rents (click HERE if you missed that).

Thomas spoke about the Bar One foreclosure situation with me at length a few weeks ago when we did our one on one interview at Bar One.

In part 2 of the video, which you can see below, Thomas clears up any misconceptions about the sticky situation that the building is in at moment, which he says has absolutely nothing to do with his rental payments.

Peter Thomas on Bar One legal situation:

The place (Bar One) is in foreclosure court right now, for the fact that the two guys who are my landlords (Showtime Cafe) didn’t pay the rent that I was paying them every month for over a year.

They were upside down on the property but I wasn’t aware of that until I got the letter from the bank saying don’t give them money anymore.

And then shortly after that it went into foreclosure.

They guy who is partners with them actually owns ‘Industry Studios’ across the street. And because he has cross-collateral for them (Showtime), his property got caught up to.

So now he stepped in and filed Chapter 11 and dealing with that. He’s getting ready to put it on the market and I’m partnering with a group of people to buy it.

As far as the negative comments he receives online and off, Thomas admits that he can seem a bit arrogant or ‘confident’ may be a better word.

He speaks about his history in the club industry and how he was once a staple on the nightlife scene in Miami and on the hip hop scene.

He also admits that while he’s not ‘the kind of guy who hangs out with those other guys,’ he fully supports his other ‘househusbands’ and he happens to be the one who champions getting the men’s voices heard as well.

Peter also talks about how he’s partnered with his buddy Kordell Stewart on a new venture in Charlotte, NC called ‘Sports One.’ And as far as the ‘househusbands’ are concerned, that’s were it ends.

You may have heard rumors that there could possibly be another ‘househusband’ indicted alongside Apollo, well both Thomas & Cynthia say that it’s NOT TRUE.

In a recent interview with Jet?magazine, Cynthia Bailey was asked a question about Thomas’ involvement and her answer seemed to spark even more rumors.

I can?t speak on Apollo, but I can say that Peter Thomas doesn?t have anything to do with a bank fraud scandal to my knowledge.

The feds are not sitting outside of our house. That is just not accurate information ?

Cynthia’s ‘to my knowledge’ statement seemed to fuel rumors and the net began buzzing that her vague answer was a confirmation.

Thomas, however, told me personally that any rumors about he being linked to Apollo’s fraud case are totally false.

Just as he said in the video above, Thomas admits he doesn’t really hang out with Apollo like that. He also stated he doesn’t hang out with Nene’s husband, Gregg Leakes, either (I guess we’ll see why next week when they go at it on the show).

The only ‘househusband’ Peter seems remotely cool with seems to be Kordell, and he’s not really on the show anymore.
