The 2-hour series finale of Nene Leakes‘ ‘I Dream of Nene’ spin-off aired Sunday night and as expected… Nene and Gregg’s ‘Do-Over’ went off without a hitch.

The couple got married last Summer in Atlanta, so we all knew the ending of the series. ?But watching the wedding and seeing the pair’s devotion to each other was definitely a tear jerker.

It also reinforced by longstanding theory that they NEVER broke up…

There’s nothing wrong with a couple that will ride & die for each other and these two clearly have what it takes to make it for the long haul.

In the two-hour season finale of?I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding, stress was high as the days wound down to?NeNe?and?Gregg’s?wedding day but every step taken towards the big day turned out to be well worth it.

Leakes’ swanky ceremony was flawless and it’s always great to see a beautiful Black couple in love. ?The emotion was real as real as it gets for a ‘reality show’ wedding.

The biggest roadblock to the couple’s do-over was the pre-nup that Nene was demanding Gregg to sign. ?Gregg proves his love & devotion to his bride and surprises her on their wedding day by giving her the signed pre-nup with no questions asked.

I wrote a wedding spoiler giving the specifics of the wedding last summer and it would be redundant to write it all over again.

Nene’s celebrity guests included Vivica Fox, Fantasia, Judge Mathis (who officiated the ceremony), Phaedra Parks, Apollo Nida, Porsha Stewart, Kandi Burruss, Fashion Queens: Derek J & Lawrence Washington, ex-RHOA’s Kim Zolciak and Lisa Wu-Hartwell, Walter Jackson (Kenya Moore’s play-play boyfriend) and more.all battle the wedding party for attention.

For the record, Kenya Moore was a no-show and shared issued a public apology to Nene last Summer (click?HERE?if you missed that).

Nene shared the joy of seeing her Do-Over on screen in her recent Bravo blawg, stating:

WE DID IT! This has been an amazing journey! It came full circle just like I prayed for! I went through so much to get to this point and going through is what brought me through.

I can’t tell you how it made me feel to have both my boys walk me down the aisle! It was indescribable and a true honor! Both of my boys were proud of me and?Gregg! They looked absolutely handsome while shedding tears of joy.

My Bridesmaid-zillas were chosen because they all had touched my heart in different ways! I truly love them all, and they looked stunning! I truly wanted to honor them that day more than I wanted to honor myself.

Mr Gregg Leakes: I am honored to be your wife! You are strong, you are funny, and I never knew love until I found you! Let’s make it last forever! I hope I have inspired couples around the world to believe in love and fight for their families!
