Meet ?Quinton Arnold, 18, Dantevious Devall Patrick, 18, and Dorian Demetrius Stroud, 19.
These three young men had the bright idea to rob students in a Georgia State University dorm room but were all caught on surveillance camera entering the building.
If you’re unfamiliar with GSU, it’s one of Atlanta’s centrally located educational institutions located in smack dab in the middle of downtown. Many of it’s students are older, and already in the work-force, who have returned to complete their degrees.

GSU dorms were built to entice younger enrollment and are located in a ‘culturally diverse’ area which also boasts a historical identity, but lately students old and young seem to be an easy mark to criminals, who easily blend in with the wide age range of the student population.
But I digress… 😯
Authorities say just after 7 p.m. yesterday (Wednesday, October 23, 2013), one of the men knocked on a dorm room door in the University Commons building, while the two others pointed a gun at their victims.
The armed robbers left with cellphones and an iPad but it wasn’t long before they were apprehended. ?One man was turned in by his mom after she saw the surveillance tape on the news, and the other two men are actually students.

A GSU representative confirmed that Arnold is a current student, Stroud is a former student and the third man, Dantevious?Patrick has no affiliation with the university.
Video cameras placed all over the University Commons building recorded footage of the three armed robbers.
When authorities released the photo of the suspects from security video, it wasn’t long before the the remaining two suspects were arrested.
A second suspect, 18-year-old Dantevious Deval Patrick, turned himself into to the Atlanta Police Department after seeing the surveillance picture.
The third suspect, 18-year-old Dorian Stroud, turned himself in after his mother alerted APD. Stroud?s mother recognized her son from the video photo ?and she brought him in to GSU police about 6 a.m.? ?He is a former student at the school.

Is it surprising that the some of the robbers are/were students of the university?
