[Sidebar: How many ‘new’ albums does Ciara have anyway? Hell… I’ve lost count at this point. Isn’t she still promoting ‘Overdose’?]
In a recent interview with ‘The Breakfast Club,’ the beat-maker backed up our hometown girl as a success — not a flop as many music fans would suggest – and while ‘Body Party’ was a hit by industry standards, it most certainly pales in comparison to the Ciara who danced across our scene over 10 years ago.

But besides all that, it seems the ATL chick has finally had enough of all the haters slinging mud her way.
It’s no secret that Ciara aka ‘C-Error’ hasn’t had the best luck these days with fans and foes a like and after years of mediocre album sales, accompanied by an inflated ego, the former ‘Princess of Crunk&B” has gotten hot chicken grease thrown her way from everyone — including Rihanna (and Keri Hilson), and yet Ciara remained poised and mum choosing to take the high road.

But sometimes a celeb can only take so much from ‘fans,’ and recently CiCi decided to fight back against at least one particular ‘fan’ she claims had been stalking her instagram and twitter account(s) sending nasty messages.
In a post that has since been deleted, the ?Body Party? songstress posted the twitter user photo and commented on her looks. It gets pretty ugly….
Details below:
“Body Party won… Her next album is gonna be crazy. We’re already working on it. Shout out to Ciara man. She real talented.”- wrote Mike Will.
That’s where the ugliness begins:
“@ciara u need some better weave all my hair is real nothing is wrong wit my hair. Can?t believe u was wit little ass bow wow u suck,? one tweet read.
?@ciara my pro pic is my natural look. Take off yo hair and that bad makeup and let?s see u look like a man like u did on the Game,? another post read.
The commenter struck a few nerves with Ciara, so she fired off a few of her own in response to the naysayer. Ciara even posted the young ladies picture to ridicule her to her millions of followers:
The unidentified woman, whose bangs clearly need to be handled by a hairstyle professional, was further raked over the coals with a teachable moment Ciara was more than willing to instruct.
But it seems the embattled singer, who just cant manage a hit if it crawled up her statuesque legs and bit her right in the cooch, had a change of heart and toned down her abrasive responses…
Most of the posts have since been removed, but like all things internet, once its out to the masses there’s no such thing as ‘delete’.
I kinda feel Ciara’s frustration with trying to adopt the social media phenomenon to extend her brand even more to her fans and getting nothing but hate all the way. I fux with Ciara (good or bad I always rep the ‘hometeam’!) But I do think its time she begin to show the world she’s not a soft spoken punk, which unfortunately I feel many seem to think she is.
When Cici’s nemesis Rihanna puts a fan in their place a ‘Don’t F*ck With Me” tweet, she seemed to get increasingly more popular.
Perhaps the “Goodies” should follow Rih-Rih’s example and show us all she is no longer that lame little girl we used to poke fun at.
Should Ciara Continue To Stay Above The Fray?
Or Should She Get Down and Get Greasy With Naysayers Who Are Coming For Her Neck?
