Nene Leakes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and her ex-husband turnt next husband Gregg Leakes are literally laughing all the way to the bank!

“I Dream of Nene: The Wedding,” the couple’s brand new spin-off finally hit the air last night (September 17, 2013) and the couple is now front & center on the boob tube Tuesday nights.

The road from a ‘fake’ reality show divorce to a ‘real life’ million dollar reality show wedding has clearly been paved in diamonds and gold and Nene is hell bent on protecting her assets and wants a pre-nuptial agreement (as if Gregg had no parts in her success)…

Here’s the thing… Greg is no saint and neither is Nene but she’s crying ‘Pre-Nup’ like she’s the only contributor to their union.

Leakes recently revealed to?Access Hollywood Live:

?He was doing things outside of his marriage that he shouldn?t have been,? she said.

When Billy Bush asked if Gregg was cheating, NeNe responded, ?I didn?t say that, you did.?

We all know that Greg had a chick on the side when he and Nene were ‘fake’ split up but Nene had that Italian dude, so what??

I think I deserve the credit for preserving their ‘real life’ marriage… and subsequent ‘do over’… especially after Nene was forced to reveal that she and Gregg were still together.

It’s all wonderfully crafted if you ask me! But this prenup business is a bit much. ?Or is it?

It was revealed on ‘I Dream of Nene’ that after 16 years of marriage, Gregg never really merged his old life with his new one so lemme give you a lil background:

Gregg was married with kids when he met Nene (aka ‘Silk’) in an Atlanta strip club. He immediately fell in love with the single mother and showered her with money & gifts. ?What Nene didn’t know at the time was that Gregg’s wife was the one with all the dough and Gregg was just a slick talking older man with a great mouth piece.

Fast forward a few years and Greg gets involved in ‘flipping’ real estate and gets caught up in a few mortgage scams. We all know how that story ends as well.

The issues that Gregg & Nene have may be real, but the two of them are as thick as thieves and know too much of each other’s secrets to EVER break up. But?Nene’s need for a prenup may be considered a ‘smart business move’ because?’once-a-cheater-always-a-cheater’ and every woman knows what the man in her life is capable of.

Gregg also has five adult children?from his first marriage who are still carrying a grudge against both Gregg and?NeNe. And we can’t forget Nene’s sisters who weren’t even involved in the festivities.

While we’ve already seen the wedding photos (click HERE if you missed that), it’s clear that Nene ?& Gregg had some issues to work through before they actually said “I do” again, but in spite of all that, the pair seem genuinely happy and in love.?So it will be interesting to see what got them to that good place…
