Omar Epps, the actor known for his role in FoxTV’s medical drama “House and cult movie classics like ‘Juice,’ ‘Higher Learning,’ and ‘The Wood,’ came to Atlanta and fell in love.
Epps is in town filming another television show and ran across the Sweet Auburn BBQ food truck, he love it so much that he decided to spend $1500 to reserve the truck for lunch for the cast & crew for the show!

None of Omar Epps’ co-stars on the TV show “Resurrection” were complaining about the food on the set today … that’s because Omar dug deep into his pockets to pay for lunch … for everybody!
The show is shooting in Atlanta … Omar dropped $1,500 to rent the Sweet Auburn BBQ food truck … which dished up grub to about 90 cast members, crew and extras.
Our BBQ sources tell us the Dirty South package– brisket, pork, and chicken –? is to die for.
“Resurrection” like “The Walking Dead” is being filmed around town right now and coincidentally, it’s a show about people who die … and return from the dead.? The new series is set to premiere as a mid-season replacement on ABC.
