Friday and Saturday (November 9-10th, 2012) Tucker appears at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre to film his concert movie, which he jokingly referred to as “The Pay Yo Bills” tour during a recent interview.

Initially, word on the curb was that Tucker was on board to shoot the final chapter of the hilarious “Friday” movie saga. Especially after a movie poster and photo of he and Ice Cube mysteriously appeared online. Then rumors begin to swirl that he would NOT be involved.
While we all remained hopeful that Tucker would change his mind… it’s not gonna happen. It’s a wrap. Give it up. Smokey has been put to rest!

For those of you who thought Chris totally disappeared. He says he went back to his roots and performed in comedy clubs around the country to hone his craft.
He also has a role in the new film, SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK. which opens in theatres Nov. 21st. but as far as “Friday” is concerned… Tucker says, it’s already been done. Let the past be the past.

When I heard the rumor, I was shocked that people wanted to see another one.
But of course I was happy that they loved the first one but no, I don’t think I’ll do another one.
It’s been so long ago and Friday’s was.. is a great movie and I don’t want to mess it up.
I want people to keep liking the one that they got.
