The iconic songstress was born August 9, 1963 and died February 11, 2012. ?Her life was a filled with song and she had her first taste of mainstream success on a duet with Teddy Pendergrass entitled ?Hold Me? which appeared on his album, ?Love Language? back in 1984.
Houston later shared vocal ability through hits like ?I Will Always Love You? and ?I Have Nothing? both from the hit movie The Bodyguard and ?I Love the Lord? in 1996 from the movie Preacher?s Wife.
