vAntwan “Big Boi” Patton may be a lot of things… i.e. Daddy Fat Sax, Sir Lucious Leftfoot, Da ‘Godfather’ (to Andre’ 3000 & Erykah Badu’s son Seven), and my baby daddy in my head…

(And NO, as much as I love him, I have NEVER shown up at his house unannounced *cough* Darshelle).

But I digress…

In addition to all those titles, Twan has now dubbed himself the “sock king” after several of his colorful choices have been admired throughout the world.

Big recently spoke with GQ magazine? where he revealed that he’s developing his own line of socks.

I’m the sock king! They’ve got a cape on the back – that’s how I flew here!

In addition to reigning over the sock world, Big has also been working on his next solo project, Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumours.

He’s released two songs from the project so far. The first was “She Said OK” ft.?Theophilus London and the 2nd is called “Gossip,” featuring UGK and Big K.R.I.T. (which you can listen to HERE).

The fans are excited. On the new album I’ve got Kid Cudi and Little Dragon. I just did a cut with A$AP Rocky the other night too, so it’s action-packed.

As for why he titled the album Vicious Lies & Dangerous Rumours, Big states:

It’s all about the search for the truth. Being that it’s the information age,? there’s so much out there and people want to know about all these things going on in the world. There’s been a lot of talk about Outkast this and Outkast that, but if you want to know what it is, you come holler at me. I’ll let you know what’s poppin’. So you got to get it straight from the horse’s mouth.

And in case you didn’t already know about Atlanta and it’s close knit musical community, Twan breaks it down for you.

When asked about Atlanta’s music scene, Big explained:

Atlanta is just like a brotherhood. Everybody went to school together: it’s so tight-knit that we bump into each other in different spots all the time.

There’s a certain camaraderie that goes around and everybody works with everybody. The music is sounding dope.

And as for that Outkast reunion y’all have been waiting on for so long, while Andre 3000 has dipped in and out of Stankonia quite a few times this year and even said himself that he’s an Outkast member forever, even Big can’t pin point a time when they’ll be able to work as a group again.

Dre’s working on the Jimi Hendrix flick, Big is working on his solo joint and Dre has said that his solo project is forthcoming as well.

When GQ asked about it all, Big responded:

You got to talk to him, that boy changes his mind so much I can’t even speak on that no more!
