Deputies arrested Shellie Zimmerman, 25,? at about 3:30 p.m. ET, after they were advised by the office of State Attorney Angela Corey that a warrant had been issued.

She was booked into John E. Polk Correctional Facility and charged with one count of lying under oath.

George Zimmerman, 28, was charged with second-degree murder in the Feb. 26 shooting of Martin but his wife now faces charges of perjury after she lied about funds her husband had transferred to her from his PayPal account.

George’s $150,000 bond was revoked after allegations that?during an April 20 bail hearing he and his wife Shellie Zimmeran misled the court about their finances, conveniently neglecting to disclose they had raised at least $135,000 in funds donated to a PayPal account.

Shellie Zimmerman was under oath when she gave telephone testimony at George’s April 20th bond hearing?telling Judge Lester that her husband George was indigent and had no assets or money to pay his bond.

When the Judge asked whether the couple had any money, Shellie replied:

?Uhmm, not, not that I?m aware of…

But reportedly bank records revealed that the day before she made that statement, the Zimmermans had collected over $200,000 in public donations to his personal website.

According to a motion filed by prosecutors, George instructed his wife Sallie to ?reset the password? on their PayPal account and to transfer $155,000 into her credit union account.

Prosecutors say bank records show Shellie Zimmerman had stashed some cash away in a safe deposit box and transferred nearly $75,000 from her husband?s bank account into hers.

According to a probable-cause affidavit prosecutors filed, when George Zimmerman was granted bond and released from jail, the money was returned to his account.

Shellie Zimmerman was charged with committing perjury during an official proceeding, a third-degree felony punishable by up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine. ?She has been?released on $1,000 bond.?(Source?1,?2,?3)
