Monica and Brandy have never been the closest of friends. In fact, the two divas had been beefing for almost 14 years prior to reuniting in the studio for “It All Belongs To Me.”

The two have performed the song together numerous times and appeared to be in sync with the goal of promoting the single as a duo.

But it seems all that forced smiling and twitpic’n was all for show because Monica and Brandy are back at each other throats yet again.

Apparently Brandy is feeling some kinda way about their new single “It All Belongs To Be” flopping like a fish outta water and since it’s now time to promote Brandy’s upcoming album, she’s opting to go solo:

Um, honestly, we haven?t really talked about it since we stopped promoting ?It All Belongs to Me.? I just honestly think Monica and I are in different places in our music. And my vibe is a little bit different this time around so I don?t know. I kind of wanna do my own thing. (MORE)

As far as the two ladies appearing side-by-side in a tour? Don’t hold your breath!

According to SandraRose, those plans may have been scrapped by Norwood, who many say, is a bit jealous of Mo’s happy home life.

Brandy Norwood is throwing her former duet partner Monica Brown under the bus after their single ?It All Belongs to Me? failed to meet expectations.

And now their upcoming tour has been scrapped. But Brandy is placing the blame for the failed tour squarely on Monica, saying Monica is more focused on her sons and husband, Shannon Brown, than she is on touring.

But that?s not true, according to my source. He told me there were issues with the top billing (whose name would go first) as well as money issues (who would get paid more). He said Brandy derailed the tour by demanding top billing and more cash upfront.

One of the many things that’s stopping the ladies from amicably touring together is an argument about who would receive top billing.

Monica’s album, New Life , is in stores now and available for download via iTunes, so it would make perfect sense that she would receive top billing, but industry insiders say that Brandy feels that she’s the “Queen B” and won’t budge on being listed first.

?Brandy thinks she is a bigger brand than Monica,? said my source. ?She has more shows than Monica, she was the star of Moesha.?

Celebrity blogger SandraRose notes that Monica was merely being used as a stepping stone to ultimately push Brandy’s album. It makes complete sense too, since it seems like Monica’s album is getting NO PLAY AT ALL.

I don’t see Brandy doing much either, but who knows. She’s getting her NEW LOOK together in anticipation of something… right?

At any rate, I woulda thought these two had outgrown all the mean girl teen antics. Seems like at least one of them hasn’t.
