Case went on to record his first major project, Personal Conversation, 1999.
The album, which achieved Platinum status, featured hits like “Happily Ever After” (which reached #3 on the R&B charts and #15 on the Hot 100) and “Faded Pictures,” (released April 20, 1999), which featured R&B singer Joe and reached #3 on the R&B charts and #10 on the Hot 100.
For those of you who may not know… the video for “Happily Ever After” featured a young up & coming singer by the name of Beyonc? in the video as Case’s love interest.
I say all of that to say…
Case is another singer who’s followed his musical path and has transplanted in the “A” ?AND I was lucky enough to receive a phone call from the singer who gave me a personal serenade of my favorite song.

A lil background on the call…. Case was approaching the 10,000 mark on twitter a few days ago and as he promised that he would sing to the 10,000th follower.? Which just so happened to be me.
He finally called me yesterday as I was frolicking around doing tourist sh*t on my mini vacay and I ran to sit in the car so I could capture a pit of it on my ipad.
Here’s the OFFICIAL video for Case’s “Happily Ever After.” See if you can spot Queen B:
