ATLien,…I am quite surprised at the deafening silence on this whole Phaedra Parks / Angela Stanton crime ring story. What’s up with that? Almost feels like major bias. Even if you don’t believe the source, shouldn’t you at least inform the public of what the allegations are and let them make a decision.

I know you aren’t afraid of a little legal action by way of Atlanta’s resident High Powered Celebrity Attorney turned Housewife.

What gives?

Here’s what gives…

I don’t believe what that broad has to say… point blank. period.

Most of you have already read about Angela Stanton’s claims about Phaedra Parks being involved in criminal activities, but for those of you who haven’t… CLICK HERE.

That being said, I decided NOT to give her a forum on?StraightFromTheA.com?to spread something that I personally don’t believe.? Biased… maybe.

VIBE merely gave her a platform because they are the publishers of her book. Betcha didn’t know that.

Long story short, Stanton wrote a book called “Lies of a Real Housewife: Tell the Truth Shame and the Devil”, which just so happens to be published by VIBE – the same site that just so happens to have?released her monologue/informercials to market her “memoirs”.

I watched a few seconds of the video and I have questions…. REAL QUESTIONS about the situation that I want answered before I can “officially” go in, so I personally reached out to Stanton via Twitter to request a one on one.

Phaedra Parks has officially denied Stanton’s claims and has washed her hands of the situation, opting to have her attorneys fight the battle.

Just FYI… the book has been published by VIBE as a “memoir”… and contrary to popular belief “memoirs” don’t have to be factual.

Remember James Frey? The dude Oprah blasted for “lying” in his memoir on her show?

If you recall, Oprah later publicly apologized but only after a few well-known journalists admitted that “memoirs” have some “leeway” in truth.

[Sidebar: Meaning, if I’m psychotic and actually believe that Antwan “Big Boi” Patton is REALLY AND TRUELY my baby daddy like I jokingly write on my site, then when I write “Memoirs of ATLien” and include my “recollection” of our life together with our five kids, it’s TRUE beccause that’s how I chose to remember it.]

I totally get it now and feel so bad for Phaedra, whose fame is clearly being used by someone she used to know so that they can “get ahead” by using her notoriety.

If you visit Stanton’s twitter, you’ll notice that she spamming the heck out of people and is clearly on a mission to sell books. ?And she included me in her spamming earlier today. When I inquired publicly when we could chat, Stanton changed the tune from the private messaging you read above.

Now she wants me to buy her book and maybe she’ll do an interview…. ie ‘f*ck u pay me‘…

So unless and until one or both of these broads go to jail… I’m done with this nonsense. ? Unlike VIBE, I don’t have a financial interest in this story.
