Bump whatcha heard… Tyler Perry hasn’t given up on Madea, his grey haired money maker. In fact, she’s alive and well and once she gets her new wig in the mail, she’ll be back better than ever!
Critics have long prayed for the day that Madea would be a distant memory, and while Perry grew tired of Madea’s moo-moo’s back in 2010, she was revived a year later in the film “One Big Happy Family”.
When Tyler found a woman to love and began speaking of marriage & kids, hell even I thought it was lights out for the pistol packin’ granny! And after TP cast himself as leading man in his newest film, “Good Deeds,” whoodathought he’d EVER do drag again?

Well guess what? Madea ain’t dead yet! In fact… she was simply “retired,” but as long as there’s a wig out there to fit TP’s big head, Madea still has a job! Hallelu-yerrrr!?
Details below:
A few days ago, Tyler… oops I mean Madea, sent out an email advising fans that she’s “come out of retirement” and will resume doing stage plays:
Hellur! This is Madea,

Times done got hard on my side of town so I went to work.? They making an old woman come out of retirement. This show is hilarious. I can’t wait to get out there and make you hurt yoself laughin.
Now listen, I know times are hard right now so I told these promoters that in every city I wanted the tickets to start at $25. NOTICE I SAID START AT $25. Ok. But they go up from there. Two thangs I want you to be sure of… One is that I said START AT $25, and the other is that I wanted to be sure that everybody can come have a good time.
