When it comes to The Real Housewives of Atlanta, it seems that you people will believe ANYTHING those other blogs tell you!

I attempted to debunk the rumor about Atlanta media-mogul Ted Turner being Marko Marlo Hampton‘s “sugar daddy”…

…but it’s still spreading. Word on the curb is that Ted is so disturbed about being linked to that ex-con, that he’s been reaching out to several Atlanta area media personalities to brainstorm about clearing the air.

On the rumor mill THIS WEEK though was Ted’s daughter, Laura Turner Seydel, who many had reported as the token White replacement for Kim Zolciak… again… NOT TRUE.

Details…A spokesperson for Seydel revealed exclusively to the AJC’s Rodney Ho that she does NOT plan to join the cast of RHOA.

However it IS true that Bravo invited Seydel to join the RHOA cast after her appearance on the January 8th episode alongside Marlo and NeNe Leakes during a fundraiser for the Captain Planet Foundation, which Seydel runs.?

Bravo was apparently charmed by Seydel?s presence and extended an invitation for her to be part of the show.? Seydel’s spokesperson, Denise Elsbree, explains:

She really enjoyed that. It was fun. She was able to promote Captain Planet.

She works hard to get the message out about the group?s different initiatives.

But she says Seydel is way too busy (and classy!) to be part of the hit Bravo reality show.

She has a really complicated schedule. She?s on all sorts of boards of foundations and travels all the time.

She?s flattered to be considered but there?s no way she could do it.

Soon after Seydel’s January 8th appearance, Bravo sent her an application on January 25.? Seydel?s staff sent back her response earlier this week politely declining the offer.

I wonder if she wrote NO with a big red marker on the front of the application? 😆
