As you know, Long reached a confidential out of court settlement with the four men who accused him of sexual coercion, and their lawsuits against him have been officially dismissed.

The View’s Sherri Shepherd feels some kinda way about Bishop Eddie Long…. and had a few choice words for him during a recent show:

If you are a man of faith, WHY would you settle out of court?

If you have God and you have INNOCENCE, those of the two most powerful things you have. David fought Goliath and he won with GOD.

So you know that that tells me? That tells me that something inappropriate going on…

In contrast, Creflo Dollar of World Changers Church addressed his growing congregation and told New Birth Members to return home:

If you from that church that you know what I’m talkin’ bout and you tryin’ to join here, I don’t want you here!

That is my friend! That is my brother in The Lord!

And in response to Long settling with his accusers, Dollar states:

He had a wreck, but he had insurance…

I can’t believe that people would leave their preacher JUST BECAUSE HE HAD A WRECK.… instead of praying for him.

Sherri, who got engaged earlier to the love of her life last Christmas, has a 6 year old son from a previous marriage.

Up until now, she has raised her son as a single parent, so it was no surprise that she was almost brought to tears making her emotional point about men who prey on single mothers with sons

When you’re a PASTOR and you say you have GOD in your life, if you are RIGHT you are going to be vindicated. God is not going to let your church fall, he’s not going to let you go bankrupt.

So when you settle out of court, it just says something was wrong and it makes me very angry because people pray on women who don’t have a man in their life, who take their sons to people in authority… that they trust!

Sherri said a mouthful…. what else is there to say?

It’s clear that the Bishop lied about those 5 stones and yet he’s still preaching from his high priced pulpit. Many New Birth members have seen the light and are attending other Atlanta area churches, but one in particular isn’t too happy about it’s growing numbers.

You gonna leave the preacher for his wreck…. when you done had more wrecks? The Blood will take care of his wreck just like it took care of yours.

I can’t believe that people would LEAVE THEIR PREACHER JUST BECAUSE HE HAD A WRECK.… instead of praying for him.

I mean… that pastor has loved them… has taken care of them… has given to them… he’s done for them… so he HAD A WRECK!

You had some wrecks! I mean… the mercy God showed you but you can’t show none to the preacher?

And then the gossip that’s in the body of Christ over the preacher that had a wreck? He had a WRECK…. here’s the good news.. HE HAD INSURANCE!!

The preacher in the city here, he’s still gonna go to heaven. He’s cleared… he’s alright!

And if you from that church that you know what I’m talkin’ bout and you tryin’ to join here, I don’t want you here! That is my friend! That is my brother in The Lord!

And if you came from there, you get on BACK OVER THERE and do what you’re supposed to be doing. Because he had insurance, and Jesus paid the premium.

Dollar wants all y’all to know that no one is flawless and that his friend Long is still anointed.

Wrecks… Insurance vs. Taking advantage of lil boys in the church? Hmmmmm?

Great sermon, but I honestly don’t see the comparison…
