I ran into Darius McCrary (aka Eddie Winslow) at least three times last week.? Jamie Foster Brown’s S2S Anniversary Event, The Soul Train Awards and finally Kandi Burruss’ “Kandi Koated” listening session.

It was at the listening session that I decided to see if I could get Darius to spill some tea on Karrine “Superhead” Stephens, since last I heard the two “lovebirds,” who married and fought a very public battle online before filing restraining orders against each other and finally deciding to divorce, were still kinda sorta dating.

Darius was such a nice guy and he stuck to promoting his upcoming album “The Dissertation of Darius.” He seems excited about his new project and says that he’s relying on his musical roots. (“The McCrary’s ” were hot back in the late 70’s and even worked with the likes of Stevie Wonder).

I asked what genre his project falls into and Darius explained that he makes music from his soul. I guess that makes it “soul music”…

Anywhoo… as for wifing up Superhead, Darius would NOT confirm or deny that he’s married so I’ll just assume he’s still tied down.
