On September 19th, 2010 at approximately 1:50 a.m., officers from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police
Department responded to the Hard Rock Hotel Casino to investigate the report of a Latin male adult
being detained by hotel security.
The subject was determined to be Peter Hernandez, a Hip-Hop performer whose stage name is
???Bruno Mars.??? He was found to be in possession of 2.6 grams of ???white powdery substance??? believed
to be cocaine.
Hernandez was arrested for Possession Controlled Substance-Cocaine, transported to the Clark
County Detention Center, and booked accordingly. After the booking process, Hernandez was
released to his own recognizance at approximately 7:45 a.m.
