Jennifer Hudson covers the August 2010 Issue of InStyle Makeover Magazine. She also has a great photospread inside the issue.

Jenn has lost a ton of weight since becoming the WeightWatcher’s spokesperson back in March and she’s showing off her svelte new figure in the new photos and unlike last year’s album cover shot… photoshop wasn’t required!

I was always told ?oh your personality is too big, everything about you is too big? Well I thought thats what a star was-somebody with a big presence. So I learned no matter who I was around not to let anyone intimidate me. Why should I dim my star just because somebody doesn?t like it? Thats why when I auditioned for ?Dreamgirls? I was like I don?t care who?s here.

In the issue Jenn also discusses her upcoming projects as well as addresses the people who say ?they like her heavier?:

Jennifer On Her New Album:

I?m so excited about it. I wanted to take it up to the next level in every way-from the image to the music to the subjects of the songs. I want to give people what they least expect. I want it to be a feel good album, I want it to be more intimate. And so far the response has been amazing.

My album goes to a place that will make you say ?I?ve never imagined her singing this? or maybe even ?Is this Jennifer??

Jennifer On People Saying??They like her heavier?:

Yes I got fussed at. All the big girls were like ?Jennifer your not in the big girls club anymore? Yes I am, and I am going to keep my curves! I love me and as far as being confident I was just as confident however many pounds ago, however many sizes ago as I am now.

While Hudson won’t disclose her current or past weight, she revealed last April 2010 that she had lost 56 pounds in 8 months by following the Weight Watchers diet plan and working out with trainer Harley Pasternak.

A rep for Jennifer confirms that she has gone from a size 16 to 6.

Hudson, who was called a “big girl” when she competed on American Idol in 2004, says she’s reached her target weight.

“I don’t want to lose any more weight, and you’re never going to see me skinny,” she says. “I think this is a good, natural size for me.”

Jennifer has lost so much weight that fans barely recognize her now. She recounts in the article:

“I was in an airport and the girl working the X-ray machine said, ‘Anybody ever tell you you look like Jennifer Hudson?’ I was like, ‘I am.’ And she said, ‘No you’re not. Because you’re skinny! Jennifer Hudson aint skinny!”

Awwww! I’m so happy that she’s happy. She looked great before and she looks great now! I absolutely Love it!
