I don’t know if Prince knew what he had in store last night’s BET Awards Show, but I’m sure he was quite pleased! Prince, who was honored with a lifetime-achievement award was serenaded by Alicia Keys, who did a rousing rendition of “Adore”.

Alicia did the dayum thang as she moved from her prim and proper seat at the piano to perform a lil table dance of sorts for your royal purple highness…

Alicia was just the jump-off [per se], as Patti LaBelle and Janelle Monae also joined Keys to pay homage to the Purple One.? [Sidebar: You know it’s good when Patti kicks off her shoes!]
