My boo Carlysia Levert, the legacy of the late great Gerald Levert, is destined for great things! Not only is she a talented songwriter but she’s also inherited her daddy’s pipes.
[Watch: Carlysia Levert sings Beyonce’s “If I Were a Boy”]
Recently, Carlysia joined a group of up and coming Hollywood artists for a recreation of Michael Jackson’s Earth Song and even Jackie Jackson was impressed!
Check out the video for the 2010 remake of MJ’s “Earth Song”:
The project was inspired by 50/50 Music Group’s Dani Wright, who brought the talented group together to honor and pay tribute to the King of Pop with this their version of the song.
Not only is this a tribute to the King, but it is a call to action, and a recognition of the times we are living in. Don’t simply watch this video, share it with your friends, family, and the world to help renew and live out the legacy created by the world’s greatest entertainer, Michael Jackson.
Long Live the King.
