Big Poppa’s Crib…

The Real Housewives of Atlanta (Season Two) is on an poppin and people are still wondering who Kim Zolciak’s Big Papa’s is. Well I tried to tell you a while back but in case you couldn’t read between the lines, Big Poppa is believed to be none other than Georgia real estate investor Lee Najjar.? Big Poppa came to his senses and kicked Kim Zolciak to the curb so now she’s single and fancy free while he’s home doing family stuff with the wife and kids.? It’s kinda sad though…especially since Kim is stuck with his name tatted on her ring finger.

Recently MTV’s Teen cribs featured Najjar’s expansive palatial estate with his two youngest children, Jamen (15) and Katelin (18), providing the tour of the insanely posh home.“Big Papa” himself and wife Kimberly even made brief appearances throughout the episode.

According to HomesOfTheRich the 16,000 + square feet home is located on W Paces Ferry Road NW in Atlanta, GA and has a massive foyer with grand sweeping staircase (Katelin says she will walk down these steps the day she gets married), a huge ballroom, a gourmet kitchen with adjoining breakfast room, numerous bedrooms suites, a recording studio, an amazing home theater with a wrought iron door, a swimming pool, a tanning bed room, a game room with ping pong table, a gentleman’s club with special filtration for smoke, a beauty and nail salon, a massage room, a moroccan room complete with a hooka pipe, a massive pool House, a basketball court, and an outdoor hibachi grill. The family cars include several Rolls Royce, Mercedes and Range Rover. (source)

I’m feeling some kinda way about this new joint from Trey Songz. “LOL Smiley Face” is addictive but hearing Gucci Mane rap about smiley faces just messed me up a lil bit. Not saying that there’s anything wrong with men who text cute lil sayings…hell I love that ish! But it’s just making me realize how the phone is becoming almost obsolete. We text, email, twitter and facebook each other to death without ever having to say a word out loud. The art of conversation is sometimes lost in the translation. I dunno….maybe it’s just me being all nostalgic and stuff since I’m about to be a year older but knee-grows making songs out of nursery rhymes talkin bout smiley faces has me a bit tickled today.

Y’all know I loves me some Jay Jenkins right?? Well, Young Jeezy is out on the road for the Young Money Tour and I miss him terribly. I’ve been slackin on my Jeezy posts specifically cause I’m still a lil salty about him gallivanting around town with his new boo...but I’ve got a few more players on the bench so it’s all good. 😆

While on the road, Jeezy took the opportunity to sign a few pairs of Adidas sneaks for the fans during a stop in New York. Check out the video:

1st he was Mr Summer Jam hes always Mr Birthday Bash. so its only fitting that when we stopped for the America’s Most wanted in Cleveland that Young Jeezy Brought out Lebron James during his set. DeShawn Snow: A Housewife Too Good for TV

With all the drama that’s going on during this 2nd season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, it’s great to see at a lil bit of positivity. Former cast member, DeShawn Snow, who was booted from the show cause she was way too normal, recently held a free camp for young girls through her foundation, The DeShawn Snow Foundation:

For me, being a teenager was like being on a rollercoaster. There were bumps and swift turns and so many ups and downs that, at times, I worried about fitting in. I felt like I was always faced with tough decisions to make. I was torn between figuring out who I was and dealing with the many issues that teenagers face. As most teenage girls are, I was often preoccupied with what I wore, how I looked, and who my friends were. Then there were the stomach-turning butterflies I felt when I wondered how boys perceived me. An added obstacle, so I thought, was my wondering how my family and friends perceived me.

I established the DeShawn Snow Foundation to assist teenage girls who face challenges and roadblocks like I did.? I believe that together we can make a difference and have a substantial impact in steering our teenage girls toward successful life paths.? I want to be part of making a difference, so I have dedicated my life to empowering and enriching the lives of girls.

DeShawn through her foundation created the empowerment camp, a free camp for girls designed to aid in building self esteem to girls aged 11-17.? The camp was held a few weeks ago and registration was totally free to the first 200 girls.? Killer Mike, Sister2Sister’s Jamie Foster Brown and TV Anchor Dierdre Dukes were among the professionals invited to provide motivational guidance and encouragement to the youngsters. Mugshot Mania ~ Surveillance Video Aids in Vernon Forrest Murder Investigation

Atlanta police released a surveillance video of Vernon Forrest’s murder which has aided in the arrests of at least 2 suspects. Damario Ware, 20, (left) made his first court appearance Wednesday morning after turning himself in the day before to the Fulton County District Attorney and Jquante Crews, 25, (right) of Dallas was arrested late Wednesday afternoon at the College Park home of his brother. Crews is the second to be charged in Forrest?s death and authorities are still searching for the shooter.

Neither Crews nor Ware are suspected of pulling the trigger but both are accused of being involved and police think they know the shooter. A surveillance camera in the parking lot of a southwest Atlanta convenience store captured an image of Ware approaching Forrest as he was putting air in a rear tire of his Jaguar intending to rob the boxer. Forrest was robbed of his Rolex watch and championship ring. Crews is believed to be the driver of the Pontiac Grand Prix used as the get-a-way car.

Police say Forrest was armed at the time of the attempted robbery and fired shots at Ware and chased him. The former boxer was walking back to his car when he exchanged words with another man. After realizing he had confronted the wrong person, Forrest turned away to leave. That is when he was shot in the back, police said. The shooter is still at large.

Flix/Video ~ Boys & Their Toys! Madden NFL 10: The MVP Preview Suite

Celebrities and members of the Atlanta elite came out in large numbers to attend the Xbox 360 Madden NFL 10 launch hosted by Konsole Kingz. Attendees included Jermaine Durpi, Kandi (Real Housewives of Atlanta), Big Boi, Young Joc, D. Woods, Mika Means, DJ Don Cannon, Chubbie Baby, Drumma Boy, Chingy, OJ da Juice Man, D Woods, Bone Crusher, Rock City, Lil Scrappy, Rich Girl, mega-producer Jazzy Pha and many more.

I got a chance to get up close and personal with quite a few of the gamers and these dudes were SERIOUS about this release. Of course there were a few ladies taking part in the preview, but we all know WE just play cause y’all want us to!
