The MARTA train operator who was caught texting and driving by a concerned twitterer (who captured the moment via the TwitPic above) *cough* <it wasn’t me!> has been suspended for three days (with pay?):
A MARTA suspended a rail conductor caught texting recently while at the controls of a train.
The conductor will be off the job for three days, the maximum penalty MARTA can impose, according to transit officials.
A MARTA rider posted photos on Twitter of the conductor text messaging while operating a train.
MARTA officials said they are reviewing current policies on texting in light of similar problems that caused serious crashes in other cities.
Safety on the train is a big deal….but so is twitter. Don’t sleep on it! No one is safe from the tweets. 😆

Sheree’ Whitfield of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is catching mad flack lately. Not only did she NOT receive the seven + figures she publicly anticipated during the airing of the first season of the show, but as I revealed to you a while ago, she gave up the fancy diggs shown in the first season for a more modest apartment home.? A similar episode happened with fellow castmate NeNe Leakes, who was eventually investigated by Fox-5 News. *sigh* What is it with these real “housewives”? Bravo sure knows how to pick em…and we sure LOVE the drama!
Now, don’t get it twisted…I personally like Sheree but when you stick your nose in the air on national television, it’s kinda hard to draw sympathy from the masses when something like that happens.? Maybe I’ve may have been out of the loop for a while…I dunno. But Queen Latifah has lost a ton of weight!? If you recall, Latifah was a spokesperson for Jenny Craig back in 2007 and since then has continued to shed the pounds. She was recently spotted at the 2009 Fidelity FutureStage Finale looking…well…smaller. I haven’t seen any recent advertisements where she’s been featured but I can only assume that she’s still on the plan. That or is buying her clothes way too big….either way, she’s looking great these days. Do your thang girl…
