Chicago Larry is back. Still tryna extend the 5 minutes of fame he stole from Ray J and Cavaiar on “For the Love of Ray J” last season. He’s a really creepy funny guy so I’ll lend him a hand in granting him 5 mo minutes! This time dude is lurking around the American Idol auditions in Chicago where he found all the rejects and no potential winners…well actually 1 or 2 of could sing a lil bit. I had the opportunity to attend Verse Simmonds’ listening session a few nights ago and I must say this dude has got skillz! We also bumped into each other later that night at LIFE on Cheshire Bridge where DJ Trauma bumped his track, “Buy You A Round”…. my twitters told the story:

KodakBoi spotted the Nivea (aka Lil Wayne Baby Mama #5 or is it #4? I’ve lost count) at an artist’s showcase Tuesday night in Atlanta. KodakBoi states that although Nivea isn’t about to pop she is definitely preggers. So add her to the list:
Nivea, who had a hit back in 2002 with her song ‘Don’t Mess With My Man,’ held an event last night in Atlanta. Hosted by MumsFP, the R&B songstress took part in what she dubbed as the “BoomBoomRoom,” where local, unsigned artist showcase their talent.
You guys can lay the pregnancy rumors to rest–tho she’s not ready to pop, I definitely confirmed last night that singer Nivea is pregnant and well….
If someone sends me a pic of Lauren and Nivea together with Lil Wayne in the middle, my life will be complete…

Peep Part I of the “The Untold Story of The Dungeon Family” which is featured in Vibe’s final issue. Will there be a Part II? Who knows… since Vibe Magazine folded and abruptly closed it’s doors a few weeks ago, it all falls on the shoulders of it’s founding father, Quincy Jones, who’s making an effort to save it:
“I’m trying to buy my magazine back now,” Jones told EbonyJet.com on Tuesday, according to an article posted on the Web site.
Vibe, one of the best-selling hip-hop magazines in the country, shut down on Tuesday. Its chief executive officer, Steve Aaron, said the magazine has a debt of “several millions of dollars” and also faced a declining market and decreased advertising revenue.
Jones, a music producer, said he envisioned an online-only future for Vibe. “They just messed my magazine all up, but I’m gonna get it back,” he said.
Jones established the magazine in 1993. It had a circulation of about 600,000, according to Aaron.
The closure eliminates jobs for all 48 staff members, Aaron said. The issue currently on newsstands, featuring Eminem on the cover, is Vibe’s last. (Source)
