President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama are greeted by Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Wife Sarah Brown on their arrival at 10 Downing Street in London, England for the G20 Summit. The trip is marked as President Obama’s first major foreign trip as president and his hefty agenda includes tackling the global economic crisis, seeking support for his new Afghanistan strategy and building bridges with foreign counterparts on a range of sensitive issues.

President Obama will meet the Queen, Gordon Brown and David Cameron on Wednesday before attending the summit of the Group of 20 major economies on Thursday. He will then travel to Strasbourg for a Nato summit before attending EU-US meetings in Prague. His last stop is Turkey, where he will accelerate his initiative to engage the Muslim world.
His eight-day schedule includes meetings on the sidelines of the G20 with the leaders of Russia and China as well as other nations. (Read More)
