I interrupt Flashback Friday to bring you this important update about my 2nd favorite Atlanta ‘Housewife’ without a husband Sheree Whitfield.? It’s being reported this morning that since dismissing her divorce appeal seeking more money from her ex-hubby, former Falcons player Bob Whitfiled, Sheree has failed to pay her attorneys almost $90,000.
The complaint, dated Feb. 2, 2009 and filed at the Superior Court of Fulton County, states that Sheree Whitfield owed $69,343.98 in principal going back to May 10, 2006. Interest on the unpaid amount, based on a monthly interest rate of 1.5%, is $17,832.93 through January 31, 2009, according to the filing.
“Plaintiff has contacted Defendant in an effort to collect said debt. Defendent?s refusal to pay said debt as agreed constitutes an act of bad faith and has caused the Plaintiff unnecessary trouble and expense, thereby entitling Plaintff to an award of its expenses of litigation, including reasonable attorney?s fees in an amount to be proven by the evidence at trial.”
Steven Montalto, the attorney representing Levine & Smith, said as of March 5, 2009, the firm has been unable to track Sheree Whitfield down to service a summons and a copy of the complaint. (Source)

Check out one of my many ‘A’ town favs, “85” from Youngbloodz which features my boo Twan…I mean Big Boi and Jim Crow. [SIDEBAR: For those of you who just hit Hartsfield/Jackson International, Jim Crow consisted of Polow Da Don, Cutty Cartel and Mr. Mo.] Some people’s standard introduction to the “A” is I285 where they get caught up driving in a never ending loop…but I’m sure I85 is a close second, leading you from the far north straight to the ‘dirty’ south.

Outkast’s infamous Stankonia studio was the location of an exclusive listening session Wednesday night. Jeron Ward and Rick Wallk, the super producing duo behind Royal Flush Ent. hosted a top knotch event and laid out the red carpet for up and coming singers, songwriters, producers, and music?industry professionals. Some of you may be wondering ‘who are these dudes?” Well, in case you’ve been under a rock or just plain in the dark, these two are the masterminds behind Big Boi’s recent grammy nominated song, “Royal Flush” featuring?Andre 3000 and Raekwon.

Michael Jackson came out of hiding today to reveal during a press conference at the O2 Arena in London that he’s going back on tour…in London. He reveals his “This is it tour” with the following speech:

Danity Kane alumni D. Woods performed live in Atlanta Tuesday night. The show was held at Sambuca and was packed wall to wall with fans. Since I was only there to support my girl Dee, I had no idea that Janelle Monae was going to perform (I know I’m slow). Each performed two songs and Janelle was somewhat of a pleasant surprise….that is, until she jumped on my table and almost broke my camera! That chick is hilarious!
