Former Atlanta radio personality Porsche Foxx is in the news yet again. This time, the embattled host (pictured above during her 2004 arrest for DUI and drug possession) and with her live-in boyfriend Tony Mattews, are being sought as “persons of interest” in the suspicious fire of her Union City townhome. Arson investigators seek to question the two in connection with a suspicious fire that damaged three townhomes Tuesday morning in south Fulton County:
The fire started in the Mallory Park Townhomes in the 100 block of Bagby Court in Union City about 2:30 a.m. One unit was destroyed and two others suffered heavy damage. One resident suffered second-degree burns.
State and Fulton County arson investigators named Foxx, whose real name is Stephanie Calhoun, and Tony Matthews as “persons of interest” in the case. Matthews’ mother was the woman injured in the fire and accused Foxx of setting the fire, according to Fulton County fire department officials. (Source 1 and 2)
There are rumors circulating that she’d been facing financial difficulties after her termination and that her home was in foreclosure. I hope that desperate times didn’t call for desperate measures on her part. Neither Foxx nor Matthews has not come forward yet to address the suspicious nature of the fire. Stay tuned…
