Shawntae Harris aka Da Brat has been sentenced to 3 years in jail following an altercation at Jermaine Dupri’s Studio 72 last fall. ?The victim, Shayla Stevens, was working as a waitress at the nightclub when Da Brat struck her in the head with a bottle of rum after the waitress bumped into her. ?This sentence concludes the criminal case, however Stevens has a civil case pending against Da Brat for unspecified medical and other costs.
