I know that there have been quite a few false alarms, but my sources have verified that as of November 4, 2009, Usher Raymond IV has officially gotten that monkey off his back! The divorce filed against Tameka Jonelle Foster Glover Raymond Jackson Brown is now complete and each are free to go their separate ways. According to Fulton County Superior Court where the divorce was filed, the final judgment and decree has been entered. Stick a fork in it. It’s DONE!

Last week, Tameka Foster Glover Raymond took to the Atlanta radio airwaves to discuss a few rumors and address her constant blogger battles. Tameka was bold enough to answer V-103’s Ryan Cameron’s questions about her upcoming divorce from R&B superstar, Usher Raymond and even touched on the public’s perception of her as a golddigging wanna-be. Many of you may have heard the audio over at FreddyO’s spot before it mysteriously disappeared, but you didn’t hear Tameka’s take on Usher’s mom because someone thought it best to to leave it out. Sad thing is, Tameka wasn’t even grateful for that lil act of kindness and decided that she would prefer that the videos and images all be removed since it didn’t get her the positive press she was seeking. Someone needs to tell Meka that she’s probably NEVER gonna get it…

Usher & Gucci Mane on set of “Spotlight” video shoot
Check out a few screen shots from the set of Gucci Mane’s upcoming video for “Spotlight” featuring Usher. The song was featured on a recent “A” Pod (Click Here if you missed it) and is yet another hot joint for Gucci. As if an Usher duo wasn’t enought to create quite a buzz, there’s much talk about the video in that it features Bria Murphy, the oldest daughter of comedian Eddie Murphy and his ex-wife Nicole. The scenery may also look familiar to some of you club heads. It was shot at LIFE over on Cheshire Bridge.
Gucci Mane is hot like FIRE these days and on dayum near everybody’s song…even my Big Boi’s “Shine Blockers”! Now a new track has dropped from his upcoming “State vs. Radric Davis” LP, which is scheduled for release in December. This new track is produced by none other than Polow Da Don and features the divorce PAPERS king, Usher Raymond, who sings, “The spotlight ain’t nothing without you girl, and the dance floor ain’t nothing without you, girl/ You a show-stopper/ Let’s get it poppin’” over the hot track.
The new song is entitled “Spotlight” and it’s so hot that the video has already been recorded! According to MTV:
Gucci and Usher shot a video for the song over the weekend in Atlanta. The clip was directed by Benny Boom and according to Gucci’s camp, it’s heavy on performance and club scenes. Young Money princess Nicki Minaj makes a cameo in the clip, and Gucci’s leading lady comes straight from the bloodline of one of the most successful actors in Hollywood history: Bria Murphy, daughter of Eddie, is the woman who makes Gucci goes crazy in this one.
Usher Raymond’s 911 call regarding the vandalization of his vehicle has been released to the masses. In the call, Usher claims that after a domestic altercation with his soon to be, almost ex-wife Tameka Foster Glover Raymond, his car had been keyed. In case you missed details of both police reports earlier, this is audio of the 2nd call. In it Usher explains he’d just called the cops the night before to file “a complaint because of potential domestic violence between me and my ex wife.”
Usher calmly details the incident with the 911 operator and describes the damage to his vehicle. He ends up kinda sounding like an abused spouse as he reveals “she followed me.” I’m really feeling bad for him right now. Publicity stunt? You be the judge. Audio below: (more…)
Usher has finally released the “Papers” track that I told you about back in July. The R&B superstar doesn’t hold back any punches on the Sean Garrett-penned track, spilling all the beans on what he’s been going through in his dead end marriage.
