Shanti Das and Marlon Nichols presented their 5th annual all white party at the August edition of ATL Live on the Park this past Tuesday, August 9, 2016.
Held at midtown’s Park Tavern, the evening included performances by house band Quinn and Jukebox, emerging talent Bluff City and Tulani, the incomparable Dionne (formerly known as Dionne Farris) and a DJ set by E-Clazz.

The night began with an old school set by Quinn and Jukebox.? The live band performed favorites by 70’s groups Switch and DeBarge which included ‘I Call Your Name’ and “All This Love’ respectively.
Memphis bred Bluff City showcased their vocal range by performing Jodeci’s chart topping single, ‘Freek’N You’.
August’s Pepsi Artist of the Month, Tulani brought a unique performance to ATL Live on the Park by showcasing her skills as a harpist.
The powerhouse singer and songwriter’s powerful cover of “It’s A Man’s World’ by James Brown brought the audience to their feet with an standing ovation. Tulani also performed her original single, ‘Miss You’, a stoic song that is reminiscent of Prince’s ‘Purple Rain’.
The evening concluded with a performance by the incomparable Dionne. The multi-talented artist performed her timeless hits including ‘Hopeless’ and ‘Everyday’ to a standing-room only crowd. Dionne concluded her set by paying tribute to the beautiful Whitney Houston. Dionne performed a cover of Houston’s ‘Saving All My Love’ and talked about her experience and the impact Houston had on her life.
