The event, held at the W Midtown, was to preview TLC’s first-ever scripted series, “Tyler Perry’s Too Close to Home” and the standing-room-only event was also attended by cast members Danielle Savre (Bring It On: All or Nothing), Brock O’Hurn (Tyler Perry’s Boo! A Madea Halloween), Kelly Sullivan (“The Young and the Restless”) Ashley Love-Mills (“Nashville”), newcomer Annie Thrash and Alpha Everette Trivet (“Drop Dead Diva”). Tyler Perry Studios executives Ozzie Areu (President), Will Areu (Senior Vice President) and Mark E. Swinton (Producer) were also on hand to present the show.

The event included lunch (with special TLC-branded cupcakes by Georgetown Cupcakes), a full episode screening, Q&A and select 1:1 interviews.
Additionally, attendees walked away with show-themed pie plates as a parting gift from TLC.
