Antwan ‘Big Boi’ Patton played host to Ford’s ‘The Art of The Drive Event’ this past weekend.

For the third year in a row, local Ford dealers exhibited Ford’s exciting vehicle line-up to a select group of invited guests. This year, the event was held at an art gallery set to create a unique, VIP experience for event guests like they have yet to encounter from previous years.

The automaker named several Atlanta area who’s who as ambassadors for the brand, whose slogan is ‘Go Further’.

Each ambassador, chosen because they have what it takes to ‘Go Further’ in their own respect, was honored by Ford during the event.

Ambassadors included: Kawan ‘KP’ Prather, Catherine Brewton, Dondria Nicole, Ferrari Simmons, Monica Tookes, D.L. Warfield, Tracy Nicole, Fabian Williams, Fiskani Williamson and Yvonne Pearson.

Ford celebrated the 2017 Fusion offerings in a night of style and performance called “The Art of the Drive”.

The private exhibition hosted by Big Boi and DJ Mars announced the new #FORDATL Ambassadors who represent the brand with their drive in life.

Ford Ambassador Dondria Nicole is the example of exactly how the new generation of music has evolved – being discovered on YouTube by producer, Jermaine Dupri. Dondria has performed at the BET Awards, opened for tours and appeared on TV shows. She is currently working on her upcoming EP, which is expected to release summer 2016.

Kawan Prather is a record executive, songwriter and record producer who has worked alongside OutKast, Usher and Pink, just to name a few. KP was recently awarded a Grammy as music executive for Kendrick Lamar’s album and chart topping single, Alright. He is currently the Head of Music of Pharrell Williams’ entertainment company, i am OTHER.

Ferrari Simmons is considered one the most distinctive broadcast personalities. Currently, he is the producer for the Greg Street show on Atlanta’s V-103 and on-air talent, delivering to his audience the hottest music and latest entertainment news. When he isn’t on the radio, he is hosting an event or TV show or speaking to kids in the community.

Monica Tookes has always had a keen eye for business and a passion for art. Monica’s artwork has been exhibited throughout the country and is widely collected all over the world. Amongst being a businesswoman and exceptional artist, she is active in the community by working on campaigns, tying art to organizations that primarily focus on the youth.

Catherine Brewton is Vice President and Writer/Publisher Relations at Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI). Catherine manages relationships with songwriters and composers throughout Atlanta and on a national level. She also directs all outreach for the BMI Atlanta office and is an advocate for urban music’s thriving community.

D.L. Warfield is a roundly respected and highly accomplished crusader. His creative company, Goldfinger c.s., has delivered works for Nike, Sprite, various musical artists and several major corporations. Aside from the industry, D.L makes time to coach youth sports and volunteer with charitable organizations.

Tracy Nicole is a designer, author, entrepreneur and breast cancer survivor. While in the industry, she has received national recognition and continues to maintain a quality and uniquely expressive brand. Tracy also began a non-profit, Perfect Peach Inc., to teach young girls about self – esteem.

Fabian Williams is an innovative artist working in a variety of mediums including painting, digital illustration, performance and video. As an artist and observer of society, Fabian’s mastery of form and application has become his signature style.
