Meet 22 year old Sharkeisha Tyesha Thompson of Charlotte, North Carolina.

If you’re an avid social media networker, you may have noticed that ‘Sharkeisha’ became the No. 1 trending topic on Twitter in the U.S. earlier today (Wednesday, November 27, 2013).

The trending topic catapulted to numero uno after a fight video of a young woman sucker-punching another woman in the middle of an argument went viral on various social media sites like Twitter, Instagram and Vine.

Several online reports allege that the ‘knock-out’ assailant known ‘SHARKEISHA’ has been arrested. Mugshots of the woman the world has come to know as “Sharkeisha” are swirling online.

There are not many concrete details about the arrest, but a number of Twitter users have uploaded photos of a woman who appears to resemble the one who instigated the one-sided fight in the popular viral video.

A bystander is heard yelling the name ‘Sharkeisha” in the background of the video and coincidentally, the mugshot that’s been circulating belongs to a ‘Sharkeisha Tyesha Thompson’.

But wait…? this isn’t the first time “Sharkeisha” has been arrested, as a quick search of online records revealed that a 2nd mugshot also exits of “Sharkeisha Tyesha Thompson.” taken in Charlotte, N.C.

In that instance, Sharkeisha was arrested and charged with one charge of “uttering a forged instrument” and subsequently released on a $500 bond.

Welp… the internet has made many a hoodrat famous and ‘Sharkeisha’ is it’s latest victim!
