Word on the curb is that Phaedra Parks of The Real Housewives of Atlanta will be getting her own show soon!
The streets have been buzzing that Parks, who happens to be a whole lotta months pregnant with her 2nd child, has been granted a new reality show which will reportedly focus on her legal career.
[Sidebar: Kenya Moore may have taken to Amazon to battle Phaedra & Apollo's Donkey Booty workout videos with her own line of booty specific dvd's, but she can't copy Phaedra's law degree without heading back to college!]
I’ve heard quite a few different scenarios about what the show will actually entail, but all roads lead to Parks’ legal expertise.
Details below…
Phaedra looked amazing as she rocked her baby bump during an appearance on Watch What Happens LIVE! in NYC a few weeks ago while talk of her new show has been rapidly circulating around Atlanta.
I’ve heard from quite a few people around town who who have been approached by producers to be on the new show, which is rumored to be some sort of “people’s court” type show where Parks will play the mediator between two disputing parties.
Some have said that Phaedra will go into homes to mediate the disputes, while others say she will have a “fake” courtroom set up kind of like Judge Judy or Divorce Court.
As for cases that Parks will be mediating, I’ve heard that they will be mostly from the vantage point of wealthy individuals… i.e. “Rich people problems.”
One well known “quasi” Atlanta celeb recently revealed to me that they were approached about being on the show because someone who formerly worked as a maid in their lavish mansion was seeking back pay of some sort. Needless to say, that person was like ‘what do I look like going on television arguing with someone over money?’ and promptly told me that they turned down the producer who had contacted them.
While Parks has denied rumors of a new show, I’m pretty confident that all these people who have been whispering in my ear about it can’t be lying!

It’s not even that the dress is revealing –(because a pregnant woman can pose completely nude and be downright stunning – Demi, Britney, Beyonce & dozens more) ITS that the dress is just completely unflattering on her odd shape. She is very short and compact and loves to wear designer clothing created with tall, long-limbed, lean women in mind.

Shady Phaedy always TALKS about "designer" clothes but her clothes look like they’re poor quality. Why in the hell would anyone who is wealthy, even A-town rich, go and air their dirty laundry on television? We have all watched the court shows and you never see wealthy people on these shows. The reality is that in the real world, wealthy people barely even enter a court room….that is what they pay their attorneys for. While I am happy Phaedra is giving us a chance to see her abilities as an attorney, I just imagine the show being full of her corny tag lines and country ass metaphors. I can’t watch her segments on RHOA without fast forwarding so I doubt I could watch a whole show centered around Phaedra.
