Singer Toni Braxton wowed fans yesterday as she showed up for her EXTRA! interview with Mario Lopez looking amazing!
The 45-year old singer and reality star rocked a gorgeous figure-hugging little black dress paired with pink peep toe sandals.

After being hospitalized in LA just last month due to issues related to her lupus condition, Toni’s healthy appearance was obviously a welcome sight.
The Grammy award-winning singer posed for photos with fans before sitting down with Mario to talk about her newly reincarnated acting career.

In her interview, Braxton spoke of her new acting role on the Lifetime movie “Twist Of Faith.”
Braxton stars as Nina, a single mom and choir singer who finds herself falling in love with a songwriter named Jacob. Jacob is an Orthodox Jew who moved to Alabama from New York after witnessing the murder of his wife and three children. He is embraced by Nina and their gospel community and music brings Nina and Jacob together as they try to make sense of his past and their possible future.
“Twist Of Faith” premieres on Lifetime, February 9, 2013 at 9pm.

100% agree. Her sister Traci acts as though her career was over because she had a baby. The other sister has a nice voice and a good band, but rather drink than work hard. Tamar is following her dreams. Even though I cant stand her personality with the bobble head, speaking in the third person and .com, .org mess. I will definetly purchase her cd because her voice is on point.

The music industry is HUGE. There is more than enough room for both Toni and Tamar to release cds. If I’m not mistaken, Toni was already set to have a cd out (she released a dance video last year). She probably pushed her cd back so that Tamar can shine. I believe Tamar’s cd is out either this month or March.

Toni deserves extra props for being the supportive sister she is to Tamar. Elephant in the room is Tamar is over the top negative in personality, her mirrors only work for HER and her singing is a straight imperfect rip off of Toni. Toni is relevant, Tamar is tacky. Only claim to fame is hubby’s money and being Toni’s sister. Toni MADE her money and fame through hard work and debilitating illness despite what industry did to her.

Actually, the Lupus is not causing the swelling. It is the medication (often steroids) use to control the Lupus that causes the swollen appearance.

Totally Agree. Toni looks Fabulous for a 40+ old lady (hint of sarcasm) with health issues. She even looks better than most healthy 20 something’s. Young ladies you can look this good too past 40 if you stop with all the excessive drinking, drugging, smoking and sexing. Toni also played in the movie Play’d a Hip Hop Story( this movie was something to the nature of the beef between Biggie and Tupac). Please folks do your history and read up on stuff before you start saying she always want to be in the spotlight.Yes, her sisters were in the back round for many years for Toni Braxton. Ne Ne had a very very small part. Theres a part when they are all walking over the person in the isle acting a fool at the funeral. Cant remeber who it is for some reason. Ne Ne was supposed to step over the person, just like everyone else, but instead she steps on the person. The producers thought it was funny so they kept in the movie. I heard her say this in an interview as to when she did a little acting before Glee,RHOA,and The New Normal.
