Singer Keri Hilson‘s Thanksgiving holiday was marred by a slew of hateful twitter roasts after the following manufactured tweet appeared online.
The tweet was created by someone banking on the fact that Hilson has said some rather dumb things online in the past… like THIS… and especially THIS.
The tweet was never posted and could not be found on Hilson’s timeline. It was soon discovered that it was created as a spoof, however several blogs had already picked it up.
Hilson woke up Thanksgiving morning being roasted (yet again) for her insensitivity.
Keri should be grateful that there was at least one site that gave a dayum went as far as investigating the photoshopped tweet by comparing the date stamps…
It would later come out that we can thank the power of Photoshop for the distasteful update, as the tweet was untraceable on her timeline, and instead her original tweet with the same time stamp found. Let’s compare the two to come up with the facts.

It’s true. Keri was NOT even in Ghana at the time. She was actually in Nigeria and there’s video online of her performing in front of about 5 people to prove it…
I honestly think Keri has made enough online mistakes that she she should probably follow the actions of her supermodel co-worker Chris Brown, and totally QUIT twitter. But that’s just me…
At least Keri’s working though… major props to Hilson on her Wilhemina modeling contract.

The fact that people believed this about her speaks volumes about her attitude. If I said "The FLOTUS was throwing clothes at Barack and cursing him out" you would say "Yeah right, not Michelle". But read a tweet that is foul that she may have written and no one questions whether or not it was her.

Tho i luv keri’s music(well some),im not a huuuge fan,just like beyonce….I’m from ghana and keri was there with bow wow to perform at their concert true,but that was last year and it was great,they love her soo much in the motherland,i was even surprised they knew her like that,it was really packed. The same with nigeria,she’s very involved with the motherland which we appreciate unlike other artiste who dont even know how to catch a plane to see where they came from…americans(especially us with color) should really appreciate what we have,be grateful and stop hating..(in other words,leave the freaking girl alone..well daaammmn)….just soo u know(which is one thing ppl dont know here in america,before judging),when there’s a concert in america,ppl come from all over,out of the 50 states. But in africa,going from one country to another is like,going from the US to England..and i dont know how many ppl will travel from US to england just for a concert(atleast i wont)..so im sure the number of fans who turn out at her concerts in a single country from africa is appreciating to her(its not that easy traveling just from one country to the other just for a concert,unlike the states where we can travel from one state to the other)…imagine how many ppl will turn out if a concert is organised,with a promotion in africa as whole and not just in one country.i’ve seen that video and i speak with friends and family in africa..as far as i’ve been told,ppl turned out to that concert,it was packed and like i said,they really do love her over there..People should stop hating,thats all. America) there are children who do NOT have access to running water & electricity. Congrats to Keri on her modeling contract. She is very pretty, so it’s no surprise that she will be modeling. I’m glad that someone did the right thing and pointed out that the tweet was false.
