Whitfield, who quit after she was unceremoniously fired from Bravo’s hit reality series, recently secured a “win” in court with her ex-husband, retired NFL star Bob Whitfield.

If you recall, last season Bob surprised his ex with a contempt filing in court, which stunned both she and her attorney at the time, Phaedra Parks.

Fortunately the two came to an amicable agreement for the sake of their two kids and Sheree immediately adds about $75,000 to her desired 7 figure divorce settlement.
According to TMZ, Bob has about 3 weeks cut a check for $75,000 to Sheree for back child support payments
Bob admits he failed to make 38 monthly child support payments of $2,142 to the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star … more than $81k.
Bob claimed he simply didn’t have the money — and had asked the court to lower his obligation … but that was denied.
Now, the two sides have struck a deal in which Bob has agreed to hand over $75k before Nov. 11 … or face the consequences in court.
In addition to the $75k, Bob has also agreed to pay $1,000 per month for the next 12 months — before reverting back to the original $2,142.
Fun Fact — Back in 2000, Whitfield signed a 6-year contract with the Atlanta Falcons in the neighborhood of $30 million.

By the way, there was no mention of who pays attorney’s fees… so while Sheree may be sleeping a bit easier with her new windfall, the attorney who took on the case may be in for a long wait for payment, especially since Sheree never paid the two other law firms who represented her in her divorce.

In some states it is considered income and therefore a lien can be put on it. Other states they recognize that it is the childs income, the child doesnt owe so they wont lien.

One should have $5000 INSIDE a handbag in order to carry one that is worth this much. This is ridiculous. She needs to comes to terms with the fact that she is no longer married to a baller who is making millions in the NFL. She is trying to maintain a lifestyle that she can’t afford. She is trying to keep up appearances and going further into debt. I live better than she does and I’m merely working a 9 to 5 job. The difference is that I’m not trying to live above my paycheck. I think people are under the impression that he was not taking care of his kids. This is not true. Bob stated that when the kids are with him, he don’t request any financial support from that horse. he provides when they are in his custody. Her original child support was based on an increased income, he has since made less money and has asked the courts to decrease the original amount. I seriously doubt if that man has neglected his kids. He is very (extremely) bright. Don’t be fooled. Now she may earn the title of unfit if that title is to be pinned on either of them and I don’t believe that to be the case.

I remember during one of the seasons a mention of Bob giving her a large lump sum of money (separate from child support), I also remember something going on with her old house where she thought he was going to give her money AND maintain the home she was living in because "his kids needed a home". On the outside looking in it appears that Sheree tried to squeeze as much money from this man as she could clearly making his child support obligations last on the list. It also appears that the child support didn’t come up until she ran though the other money and then wanted to say he wasn’t taking care of his kids. There are some men who even after the divorce will take care of the home etc but BOB does not seem like that guy. lol I remember feeling some kind of way when her own daughter was shocked when Sheree told her that Bob was not taking care of the kids, the daughters reaction was almost like she knew the other side. I also remember feeling some kind of way when it was very clear that her daughter (who is not Bobs) seem to have a close relationship with him AND her boyfriend seemed more comfortable talking to Bob then he did Sheree. One thing that I can say the man cant be all that bad if her oldest child continued a meaningful relationship with him especially when it is much easier to just take your mothers side and be done.
There are two sides to every story and unfortunately when given air time on the show Bob seemed more invested in making Sheree look like a fool then to defend his role as a father. LXL, that’s a problem with many black folk. You’ll see black men in hummers, but they live in their parent’s basement. I HAD a friend. In our 20′s, she had her own apartment. Every two weeks she was getting her hair and nails done. Never saved anything. I was screwing up my credit too, but after a stern talk with my mom (vice versa), I started saving money. No reason for me to work 2 jobs and have nothing to show for it. Fast forward 10+ years…I’m still doing my own nails and hair (mostly), only shopping on sale (mostly), and I’ve had two homes. She’s been living at her mother’s for years.
On RHOA, Kandi told Kim she didn’t have a black card. Out of all the women, she’s the only one who could actually afford it, but has no need for it. She’s smart with money, clearly.

You know what? I wonder why men and women have to go to court for child support when you know fully well that you should automatically be financially and responsible for your very own children. It shouldn’t even have to come to that which is truly sad. People should want the very best for their kids regardless how mad they are at each other.

I agree every man should pay for their child’s upbringing. But something needs to be done about those who do and still get burned by vindictive exes. There is a dad I know had his daughter M-F paid her daycare, bought her clothes feeds her takes good care of her. He has her EVERY holiday and birthday and Mom was cool cause she only had her on the weekends. She lost her job so after years of paying for child care he figured she can keep her Mon-Fri wrong she flew her tail down to CS and said he dont do enough, and the outcome was just bad for him. On topic I recall something about a lump sum and her not doing right about a house. All I’m saying is be fair about it I don’t think he was ever a deadbeat she screwed him over.
You’re right. There are some vindictive exes out there that will go to extreme lengths and because of this behavior the child(ren) suffer. I think men and women who are doing the right thing should keep journals and receipts of everything to prove to the courts or whomever of what they are doing to take care of the child(ren). I hear stories all the time about how the exes decide to go and put daddy on child support out of spite because he is dating or marrying someone else which in some cases some men are taking care of their children and some aren’t. And then you got those that get with men who aren’t shit and not doing anything and still get pregnant by these fools and go screaming and hollering because they aren’t taking care of Shaquan and Jaressa. Well they knew this before they were impregnated by these good for nothing and never will be shit trolls.
Uuuumm I remember in the first or second season, Sheree mentioned that more than anything, she wants Bob to bond with their kids..she also said how when he left, it didn’t effect her kids that much because he wasn’t that attached to them..she mentioned how Bob is closer to her oldest daughter than their others kids…whether you like Sheree or Bob, it’s obvious that he has some spite towards Sheree that has effected his relationship with his children…hopefully that will change..

I can’t stand Wendy from her early radio days. What made me dislike her so much is when she set up old school rapper Father MC to be arrested when he came up to do her radio show in NY. She knew all along and was in talks with the cops on how they could catch him. She suggested that she would invite him to the studio and they could snatch him there. Now mind you, he owed back child support and his child’s mother asked Wendy to help her so she contacted the police and hatched a plan. I don’t support deadbeat dads but I do feel that Wendy shouldn’t have got involved with that. Now I see why 2Pac couldn’t stand her and cussed her out every chance he got.
